Dark Pokemon Gym

It kind of bugs me, that the first Pokemon Gyms were of Rock, Water, Electric, Grass, Psychic, Poison, Fire and Ground, then the second Pokemon Gyms were of Flying, Bug, Normal, Ghost, Ice, Fighting, Dragon and even Steel. The rest of the gyms have the same types, but none of them have Dark Pokemon, which is strange, for not covering all the Pokemon Types.
